Le soleil est entré dans la maison alors que mon fils et moi fabriquions une petite couverture pour Noam né la semaine dernière. Bienvenue Noam, longue vie et prospérité.

Si vous visitez souvent, vous avez sans doute remarqué que je bricole le site, j'ajoute des petits boutons et j'expérimente avec le HTML, le CSS et la rigidité du modèle Blogger. Ce sont des connaissances toutes nouvelles pour moi et je fais beaucoup d'erreurs. Je vous invite donc à visiter, cliquer partout et me faire part des problèmes ou de vos suggestions.

Heureusement, je couds mieux que je ne programme et cette semaine, je me suis fais une petite toile de ce joli modèle. 

Et là, vous vous demandez: "C'est une robe de chambre en fanellette carreautée, pourquoi tu fais une toile? Pour vérifier si tes pinces sont au bon endroit? Y'a juste le facteur qui va la voir!"

Mais vous ne voyez pas encore ce que je vois? Modèle B, manches A, rouge, chaud, manteau, hiver? J'ai coupé une toile parce qu'il faut que je détermine l'aisance nécessaire pour ajouter une couche de fine polaire, la longueur des liens et si je vais garder les fronces, faire des plis ou faire une jolie ligne A en gardant l'ampleur du bas.

Maintenant que vous voyez ce que je vois, vous en pensez quoi?

In case you come here often, you may have noticed that I spend a lot of time in front of my computer  tinkering with the site, adding little buttons and experimenting with HTML, CSS and the stiff Blogger template. As with all newfound knowledge, there is a lot of trial and error going on here. Go, click about, and report any problems with links not working and such. I also take suggestions.

Fortunately, my sewing chops are better and I cut a muslin of this housecoat pattern earlier this week.

Now, I can hear you ask 'why would I make a muslin of this? It's a checked fleece housecoat, nobody but the mailman will ever see it, so what if the darts are a little high!'

But can't you see what I see? Wouldn't B length with the A sleeves make a beautiful, red, warm, winter coat? I need to figure out the ease needed to fit interlining for warmth, how much tailoring I'll be doing, how much longer the ties will be and decide if I am going to keep the gathers at the waist, pleat or do a simple A line.

Now that you're seeing what I'm thinking, I'll take suggestions too.
