I have such a knack for choosing the hard way!
I am doing a dress refashion you see, and instead of just doing a 4 panels / 2 hours skirt, I've managed to convince myself that I could squeeze a 20 pieces Calvin Klein skirt out of this beaten up dress.
I bought it because I thought it would make a quick
Beignet, but the dress had been mended over and over and I couldn't use the button placket, so I had to work around that. The quilted fabric is quite stiff so I had to choose a straight skirt pattern.
Enter Calvin.
Now, I have a "tight-fitting, fly front zipper closing, contour buttoned waistband with belt carriers, shaped back yoke, side front slanted pockets with right front change pocket and back patch pockets, back hemline vent, topstitching, edgestitching" headache.
See you in a few days!
