The Doily Skirt is going to travel unfinished, though I'll be bringing a book on the plane and not a crochet hook!

Expect snippets about some exciting tool purchases, updates on the doily skirt and maybe some Sewing For Two action.

Robes identiques pas fait main

J'y vais!

Ma Jupe en Napperons va voyager sans finitions, mais pas en cabine. Je vais amener un livre dans l'avion.
Les informations couture seront postées de mon iPhone via le merveilleux service Posterous sur ce site et sur Tumblr, Facebook, Flickr, Hellocoton et Twitter. C'est moderne!
Je publierai des mini billets sur mes achats d'outils, des mise à jour sur la jupe et peut-être quelques photos en action de Coudre Pour Deux.
On a 2 ou 3 fêtes à organiser, des amis à voir et de la famille à embrasser, je vais avoir un agenda de ministre! Amusez-vous bien pendant mon absence!

Cheating - A Doily Update

I am cheating!

I was supposed to have one more week, but my trip has been rescheduled and moved up an entire week. So, the doilies that were going to be attached by hand are being zigzagged into place. Chut! Don't tell anyone. 

This is the inspiration for the skirt. I know how to do the belt area but I still don't know if I should even out the hem or leave it as is, which, I think, is going to make me look like an old hippy who hasn't finished her crochet blanquet. 

Any of you know if I can take a crochet hook on a plane? 

Je Triche - Les Napperons Mis à Jour

Je triche!

Mon voyage prévu dans 15 jours est la semaine prochaine alors, les napperons qui devaient être attachés à la main sont cousus à la machine avec un grand point zigzag. Chut! Ne le dîtes à personne!

Voici l'inspiration de la jupe. Je sais comment je vais attacher la ceinture, mais je me demande toujours si ou comment je vais finir le ourlet. Si je ne le finis pas, j'ai l'impression que je vais ressembler à une vieille hippie qui n'a pas fini sa couverture.

Est-ce que vous savez si on peut embarquer avec un crochet dans un avion?
