(I'll get to it eventually...) I think it will help with grading vintage patterns but time will tell.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1035815642960181280.post-31539701736618309762014-03-25T12:45:37.807+01:002014-03-25T12:45:37.807+01:00it seems to me that your right hip (and waist) is ...it seems to me that your right hip (and waist) is more developed than your left side, what makes the bodice pulling to the right and results in diagonal creases pointing to your bosom tips. to remove them, open the whole right side seam keeping 1-2cm of the seam closed at the armholes. the amount, the seamlines open at the waistline when you wear the bodice will give you a hint, how much you have to alter the side seam lines of the right side. after this alteration the left side will be a bit looser. you can pin this away in the left side seam.
Another tip: i think your back balance is a little bit too long, resulting in creases in the back. Make the back balance 1cm shorter by pinning away a horizontal fold over the hole back in the middle of the armhole (half between chestline and neckhole).

greetings PeterleAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
