The Big Suit Take 3 / Prise 3

With all the rain that fell upon us in the last few days, it's a miracle that I was able to have pictures taken at all!
In theory, this should be worn with a thicker under layer but you get the gist, I am ready for winter.

I am always hyper critical of my makes, there is certainly one or two things I would do differently, but nitpicking for nitpicking's sake is not really interesting. I am happy about it and I wear it all the time and that is what is important here.

Happy New Year you all, thank you for dropping by.

    1. Thank you! I do have a fool proof way of doing that. Would you like me to show you? Next time I sew some sleeves up, I will.

  6. The sleeves and all the layers of support should be mandatory viewing for all sewers who start a coat and think they can skip that part!!!! Then the facing/bagging - oo la la! I have never had to do a back vent lining but if and when I have to, I certainly will refer back to this post (I have made a PDF) and also to your link of Kathleen Fasanella. I didn't respond to your pattern giveaway as I found I had almost all those patterns in my stash...weird?
    Happy New Year, Carmen!

    1. Happy New Year to you too. In general, trying to skip things don't work for me. Thank you for dropping by MrsMole, I am such a fan.
